ShineEvent brings events together in one place: concerts, club nights, church services, community gatherings, cultural and sporting dates. The app shows what is happening around you — tonight, this weekend or on a date of your choosing — with the distance from where you are, the venue on the map and directions.
You search by event, venue, city or organiser, then narrow down by category or music style: afro, latino, hip-hop, gospel, electro and more. Every listing gives the time and the address and, where they are known, the price and the ticket link. One tap saves an event to “My events”, and a reminder reaches you the evening before. None of this requires an account.
An account stays optional and adds only two things: finding your list again on another device, and hearing about changes without even opening the app — when a date is cancelled, when a time or a venue changes, or when an organiser you follow announces a new date.
For organisers — associations, churches, clubs, promoters, artists — publishing takes three minutes and needs no password: a link by e-mail is enough. A weekly club night or a monthly service is entered once and only once. Every published event produces a poster ready to share on WhatsApp, with a QR code and a short address back to its page — and on a phone with the app installed, the link opens the app directly.
The organiser area shows views and clicks, and lets you correct a detail, cancel a date or end a series. Each organisation also has its own public page — logo, banner, introduction, contacts, upcoming dates and figures — which the public can follow so as not to miss the next one.
Publishing is free during the launch phase. Student associations stay free for life once their status has been verified; churches and other associations move to a reduced rate afterwards.
The app and the website exist in German, French and English.
